Cleaners

Cleaners

DK Cleaner

Our cleaners are the highest capacity, most efficient cleaners on the market. Our cleaners are direct-driven to eliminate chains and sprockets. Our cleaners also feature PLC controls and inverter-duty motors allow speed control. ​

  • Our cleaners have 5' and 7' variants. The 7' cleaner is capable of processing 30-40 vines per minute, while the 5' cleaner is capable of processing up to 15 vines per minute (depending on hop variety).

  • Linear product flow removes the need for a shaker table and simultaneously increases efficiency and ease of maintenance.

  • Our cleaners feature excellent product containment and significantly reduced pile-up compared to the competition.

  • Angular-controllable fans allow you to control fan speed and airflow.

  • Our cleaners feature OSHA compliant cat-walks as well as proper guarding and handrails for the best safety in the industry. 

  • We offer harps that assist with seed and small stick removal.

DK Fans

Our fans are high-volume and feature straight airflow for maximum efficiency. Two-bank and three-bank variants of our fans are available.​​​

  • Our fans feature linear-actuators which allow on-demand angular control.

  • Two-bank fans can be retrofitted onto existing equipment as an upgrade.

  • Speed change on-demand to accommodate different hop varieties.

Dribbles

Our dribbles feature a hefty mainframe for reduced vibration and system-wide durability. 10:1 gear reduction makes angle adjustments easier. A softer belt results in better grip, sorting, and efficiency. Our dribbles are also designed with fewer moving parts, which means less maintenance and higher reliability.

Trash Bin

Our trash bin features a heavy-duty yet sleek design. Our trash bins are designed to operate without breaking down and feature a drag-chain design. Fully enclosed for weather protection, increased safety, and durability.

Trommels

Our trommels feature a durable steel & UHMW design. We utilize a heavier mesh than the competition for better spreading. Our trommels are variable-speed. We utilize mesh bouncers which spread the hops and eliminate the need for a shaker table. Hops are spread evenly across the belt to utilize the full-width of the cleaner.

Main Picker

Our Main Picker is a curtain picker that comes in either a two or a three bank style.

  • The three bank style picker is capable of processing up to 60 vines per minute.

  • The two bank style picker can process up to 40 vines per minute.

  • Our picker is built from the ground-up with high-quality, durable materials.

  • Our proprietary fingers are built in-house for maximum quality control and durability.

  • Custom installation is available.

Our mini-pickers are perfect for smaller acreage or experimental use.

Unloader

Our unloaders are fed from the ground. Some unloaders are capable of 20 vines per minute per unloader. We also offer let-downs for a more comprehensive front-end system. Multiple styles available to suit your needs.

DK Main Chopper

Our choppers feature a symmetrical design/drum. The reversible drum doesn't require curved blades. The drum is balanced for precision.

We offer our kiln layers in any size. Our kiln layers feature a 16" wide belt, which is the biggest in the industry. Our kiln layers sport a heavy duty and durable design.

  • Our kiln layer features a heavy-duty design 

Moisture Probe

Our moisture probe is linear-actuated and PLC controlled. Our mousture probe can be remote controlled, and features a digital readout. The probes are built by Reid Instruments. Our moisture probes also feature X and Z axis adjustability.

Our mini-kilns are perfect for small batches of experimental hops. The mini-kilns' controls allow kiln temp and pressure modulation.

DK Baler

Our balers feature stainless-steel contact and sanitary pressing. ​

  • 200 pound bales.

  • A single baler is capable of producing over 275 bales per shift.

  • Walk-around baler with scaler.

  • Weigh-box and baler scales available.

  • Scales are PLC-controlled and programmable. They can run on floor-tracks so that they are always where they're needed.

  • Single/double styles available.

Conveyance

We can build you a complete cooling barn conveyor setup. We are also able to build any other conveyors that you may need.

DK Top Cutter

Our top cutter comes in a wide 10'4" variant and a narrow 8'4" variant. Each unit is fine-tuned for balance and precision.

  • Our top cutter features hydraulic input of 10-30 gallons per minute and is tank/reservoir compatible.

  • Our top cutter can be put on almost any tractor or telehandler that is heavy enough.

  • Our top cutters feature manual spool valves and can operate by wire.

  • We also build reservoir tanks. 

 

DK Bottom Cutter

Our bottom cutter can be put on almost any tractor. Custom-mounting available.

  • 10-20 gallons/min hydraulic requirement.

  • Linkage-free.

  • The cutter bar drive is a  new design with no pitman arm to break.

  • Adjustable from 11-17' cutting width.

  • Customizable for center-cutting.

 

Crowner

Our crowner is durable and features a two-way swing pivot joint on the crowner arm, resolving issues related to backing into posts.

  • We can build you a hydraulic power unit to power the crowner.

  • Our crowner also folds up and in for easier transport.
